At The Kingsley, we like to keep things local in our restaurant and support the Farm-to-Fork approach. We source local beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, marron, fruit and vegetables, milk, cream & more.

Our aim is to evoke a warm, country atmosphere keeping the restaurant menu approachable, but with a modern twist.

Our restaurant’s starters menu features dishes like chicken liver & cognac parfait with thyme butter, local marron risotto with truffle emulsion & a roast garlic pulled pork bruschetta. Our mains menu includes local southern forest lamb shanks served with a red wine and tomato reduction, garlic confit belly pork served with pumpkin puree and an apple & thyme sauce or an oxtail root vegetable & kipler potato stew (a personal favourite).

“I visited the motel quite by chance. I was riding some sections of the Munda Biddi trail and after a long day the motel, bar and restaurant were an oasis in the desert. The brothers who own the place (Andrew and Charlie) are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and cannot do enough for you.
